I am a composer and arranger based on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales.
I write post-modern fusion music of folk/classical/historical style (see examples), the way this works in a filmic sense is to create a musical bridge between the various cultures depicted, or in the case of fantasy, to create a completely new sound for a world that is totally alien that still communicates mood and character in a recognisable musical language.
I have a good understanding of contracts (composition, recording, releases, etc.), can compose swiftly for any ensemble, work with session musicians, and can work with only timings and notes if necessary.
My media composing rates are:(without musician(s) and studio hire): £555.25 for title music, plus £55.50 per minute of incidental music, I retain intellectual property.
I can produce electronically synthesized work, however if you would prefer a live recording the rate for my local studio including engineer is £55.00 per hour (please be aware that it is good practice to have between 4 to 1 and 10 to 1 recording time versus music to record.)
