Dawson-Sabatini - Evan Dawson

Biography
I am a freelance composer, saxophonist, pianist and conductor. I’m involved in running orchestral and choral projects with Radio 3, SPNM, PRS and Making Music such as "Listen Up!" and "Adopt a Composer". I am a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music, and was a Director of Music at University College London for 10 years. I now work in partnership with Nico Sabatini.
We are fluent in a wide range of musical styles and instrumentations, from full orchestral to rock, from jazz to electronica. (I also speak Welsh).
We write sympathetic and tightly synchronised music to a high finished standard.
We are experienced collaborators, and enthusiastic and accessible composers. We have recently worked with Presentable TV, Panico Films, Seat cars, William Hill, 888.com, Liquid TV and our music has been heard on Channel 4, Sky, S4C and Challenge. Our work has also been heard at the Venice Film Festival, the London Film Festival, the Portobello Film Festival and the Malaga Film Festival!
Please see our website for further information.
