Biography:
Gareth Thomas is a composer, musician, singer and music producer based in Cardiff, South Wales. Gareth developed a passion for music from a very young age, and self taught himself piano at the age of 9. When Gareth was 14 years of age he composed a song for the Tsunami appeal, and released the song nationally donating all proceeds to the charity. Gareth received national news coverage for this such as on the BBC News site http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/south_west/4187031.stm and radio coverage across the country. Gareth studied his GCSE music a year early at comprehensive, and became the only pupil to achieve an A*. Gareth continued his studies right through to University, where for the last 3 years he has studied BA Popular Music at The Atrium (University of Glamorgan) in Cardiff. Gareth is professional, dedicated and enthusiastic about writing music, and continues to work hard in creating music for the media.
