About The Directory
The only database of its kind, The Welsh Music Directory has details of 1,700 companies involved in the music business in Wales. There are also details of certain UK and International organisations useful to those who require additional direction, information or services from outside Wales.
The directory is arranged into categories according to business type, such as 'record labels' and 'ticket outlets'. Within each category you can look for businesses based in specific places. There's also a quick search option on the right of this page where you can type what you're looking for or the name of a business, e.g. 'recording studios Cardiff' or 'Welsh Music Foundation'.
You can submit an entry to the directory here. The details will be checked and the entry made live, it will then also appear in the next printed version of the directory. If you need to correct or update existing an existing entry please contact Welsh Music Foundation: directory@welshmusicfoundation.com. There is no charge to have a business listed.
Activity in Wales is spread over a huge area and new companies are starting up all the time. Whether you’re a bedroom producer, home-based record label, promoter, manager, publisher… you’re part of the Welsh music industry and we want to know about you!
