About the event...
Production music can be an additional income stream for many music creators and rights holders. Recent figures have shown that, with only 2% of production music used on Welsh TV being composed by Welsh composers, its one were not taking advantage of. In light of this, Welsh Music Foundation will be launching a toolkit for labels, composers, studios and musicians to prepare music for the TV and the wider multi-platform industry such as computer games.
Taking place 3pm at the CULT Cymru / North Wales Creative Industries Fair in Galeri, Caernarfon, a panel of audio-visual insiders will discuss the market with Aelwyn Williams (PAWB, who are presenting the Toolkit) and John Hywel Morris (PRS For Music). Chaired by Rhys Mwyn. Similar session in South Wales too.
