Free Music Surgeries at Royal Welsh Show, Builth Wells

This summer, Welsh Music Foundation and Community Music Wales are joining forces to provide advice and information on all music-related matters at some of Wales’ biggest events.

Following the success at the Urdd Eisteddfod in May, free Music Surgeries will next be held on the Welsh Language Board stand at the Royal Welsh Show, Builth Wells on July 21 2008 and July 23 2008, between 11am and 1pm - offering musicians and those interested in getting on in the music industry a chance to find out what they need to know, from experts in the field.

Dai Lloyd (present on July 21) is Welsh Music Foundation’s Welsh Language officer and can advise on all aspects of the music business; and Gethin Evans (present on July 23) from Community Music Wales will offer all kinds of advice to musicians and artists.

Those interested in or already working within the music business are invited to book a slot to have any questions answered, ideas shared and general advice given.

Please contact: dai@welshmusicfoundation.com or gethin.evans@communitymusicwales.org.uk to reserve a time allocation…or just turn up on the day!

Further surgeries will also be held at the National Eisteddfod in Cardiff on August 6 and 7 2008 (between 11am and 1pm on the Welsh Language Board stand).
