GO Wales – helping Businesses in the Creative and Cultural Industries.

A pan Wales Initiative, it offers companies a variety of services to help recruit and retain graduate staff. Businesses can benefit from offering work experience to a student or graduate, take advantage of the cash support for staff training, recruit a student or graduate through a work placement or advertise a vacancy free of charge. Thousands of businesses in Wales have already benefited from the GO Wales programme.

Sarah Cotton, the new GO Wales Project Officer based at the RWCMD and Atrium said ‘Work experience is vital for anyone considering a career within the Creative and Cultural industries. With this sector being such a tough one to break into, I’m confident that this is not only something that will help those wanting a ‘foot in the door’ but will also bring new skills and ideas to keep these industries energised’

If you’re a company or organisation who would be interested in holding a Work Taster, or could benefit from new skills, knowledge and fresh ideas by having a subsidised work placement, then please contact Sarah Cotton, GO Wales Project Officer on scotton@glam.ac.uk or 07824 406489.
