MIDEM 2012 : TRADE MISSION FUNDING FOR COMPANIES

Support is available from Welsh Government for export-ready companies wishing to attend MIDEM 2012 in Cannes, 28-31 January 2012.
Midem is the biggest music industry trade fair and conference in the World. Taking place every January in Cannes, it's a key event for music businesses looking to license, distribute and develop customers overseas. For more information: www.midem.com
1) The offer:
50% off flights and accommodation plus 50% off delegate registration to the British at Midem stand.
The offer will be for one delegate per company.
You will be required to complete 'Overseas Event Application Form' and return along with the preferred flight and hotel details you have identified.
If your application is approved, this information will be passed onto the travel agent who will then contact you directly to confirm availability & prices.
The travel agent will charge you 50% of the booking price.
The travel agent will not charge any additional fees.
Maximum company spend of £200 for flights (so maximum subsidy £100) and £125 per night on hotels (maximum subsidy of £62.50 per night).
Companies are welcome to have more expensive rooms and/or flights if they wish but they cannot claim more than the maximum subsidy stated.
No costs incurred in the UK will be subsidised (hotel at Heathrow, transport to and from UK airports etc).

This support is only available for a limited number of companies therefore we recommend that you send in application as soon as possible. It is aimed at enterprises looking to do business internationally. As part of the support you will be expected to complete a post-event evaluation form and provide regular updates on how attending has impacted on your business and the value of those deals.
