News from PRS For Music Foundation:
Our new funding schemes for Individuals and Organisations & Groups will be open for applications from January 2012. With these new schemes we hope to attract a broad range of excellent projects which make a real difference to everyone involved - music creators, performers, organisations and audiences across the UK.
To make things easier for applicants, we've got rid of our categories for Promoters, New Works, Performance Groups, Festivals and Organisations and will be accepting applications from organisations or individuals. For the first time, we are also introducing a two stage application process and the deadline for our first Stage 1 round of applications is 6th February 2012.
Our funding decisions will focus primarily on the quality and imagination of music presented and how well your activity fits with our three funding priorities - to support the creation and performance of outstanding new music in any genre; to develop artists to their full potential; and to inspire audiences UK-wide.
